Figuring out how to Follow the Spirit of God
I invested years doing life my own way, without taking after God. At the time I thought it would make me feel great doing everything that I wanted to do. Yet, the truth is I was hopeless.
If we're not taking after God's plan, we're never going to feel peace or bliss within ourselves. You may have a great time in life, however I've discovered that having some good times and having great times are two distinctive things―and I would much rather have euphoria within myself for the deeds I have done.
Fun depends on what you're doing and the occasion. You can go to the shopping center with your credit card and spend a bundle of cash, and you may enjoy doing it, yet by the time you get back home, the fun is over and you've lost your buzz.
It couldn't be any more obvious, the adversary of the devil entices us to have a ton of fun, however if we fall victim, our lord will shake his head at us for doing the wrong thing. That's where these Godly ebooks intervened and changed my life for the better. I treated these ebooks like the bible, I learnt so much and grew as a person. My family used to comment how much I changed so I decided to share my journey here and how I went from a lost soul to following the righteous path with my local church.
Fun is extravagant; satisfaction is free. Bliss depends on your association with Jesus Christ. When we do what His Word instructs us to do, then we have the peace and delight that originates from being near Him.
Discovering Your Pathway to Joy
Romans 8:1-2 says, "Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death."
One of the ways you can tell you're taking after substance rather than the Spirit is that you have no peace and you're battling. In case you're considering doing something and you have no peace about it, simply don't do it.
For instance, you may have a desire to get married. However, in the event that you've gotten yourself into a relationship in the view of flesh and you're persuading yourself you must get married in light of the fact that this could be your only chance, everything you're doing is setting yourself up for a lifetime of wretchedness.
It's Okay to Make Mistakes
Life can be so quick paced, and it's anything but difficult to make errors when you're in a rush. Now and again we have to back ourselves off so we can recognize the difference between our tissue's yearnings and the Spirit's cravings.
What would it be a good idea for you to do when you understand that you've committed an error?
Most importantly, you absolutely never must be embarrassed to pull out of doing something you believed was holy once you understand it's definitely not. You can essentially say, "I've committed an error," and move forward. We all miss God at times of our lives. Really, that is one of the ways we figure out how to get notification from God effectively. At times you should venture out and take a stab at something to discover regardless of whether it's truly God.
Keep in mind, when you take after His driving, you're going to have peace and euphoria, not blame and judgement. In Christ, we are free from sin and can have bounteous life, loaded with delight and peace. We simply need to take after His lead.
